Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by the Pit Stop website (pitstopmobile.co.za) and how you can manage your choices.
What we use
Pit Stop only uses essential storage required for the website to work. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels.
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pitstop_cookie_consent | Local storage | Essential | Remembers your cookie choice and the policy version so the banner isn't shown on every visit. | Until you clear your browser storage or change your choice |
| sb-ixqthfubmhxgkeeskujg-auth-token | Local storage | Essential | Keeps Pit Stop staff signed in to the private admin area. Only set when staff sign in; not used for customers or bookings. | Until the staff member signs out |
| tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3 | Session storage | Essential | Remembers your scroll position so the back button returns you to the same place on a page. | Cleared when you close the browser tab |
Third-party services
The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download them. Booking requests are stored securely with our database provider and are not used for tracking.
Optional cookies
If we introduce optional analytics in future, they will only run after you have given permission, and this policy will be updated.
Changing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies and storage in your browser settings.
